Doyle ITS Roster enables you to display membership information unlike any other module in the DotNetNuke marketplace. It was designed for teams or other member-based organizations that need to display both information about that organization, as well as the actual roster of members. What's more, Doyle ITS Roster allows you to show your roster on a year-to-year basis!
At the core of this module is the Roster, which represents your team or organization. You can choose to display only a single roster, or utilize the Explorer, which categorizes your rosters and allows users to browse by Roster Type. Each roster type has configurable positions (for example, a Baseball Team roster type can have its positions defined - pitcher, catcher, etc.). Each roster also has Terms, which are the customizable periods of time you define - seasons, years, semesters. Rosters also have Members, which are the actual members or players in your roster. Finally, you can specify Member Terms, or Term Members, which is simply a way of saying that a particular member held a particular position during a particular term (John Doe was Chairman in 2006 or Troy Aikman was Quarterback in 1994).
Enhancing the functionality of the Doyle ITS Roster are the abounding customizations you can make in the Settings - whether to allow image uploads, show address, use Start/End dates, etc. You can also choose labels - call rosters "teams" and members "players". - Supports a single roster, or multiple rosters with the Explorer enabled. Have as many roster types as you need!
- Add members to each roster, including their pictures, and even manage what "positions" they've held for each "term".
- Define the "terms" for each roster, or the periods of time that define your season, year, semester, etc.
- The module settings provide a fine degree of control and flexibility, including visibility of fields, field captions, image uploads, and much more!
New to version 1.1:
- You can even import members from another roster in the same module, another roster module within the DNN portal, and even from the DNN membership!
- Terms can also be imported from another roster within the same module, or another roster module within the DNN portal.
- Doyle ITS Roster supports partial rendering (AJAX). For this reason, DNN version prior to 4.5 are not supported.
- Import and export your content, including images, roster types, position types, and even the module settings! Doyle ITS Roster supports two key DNN options - ISearchable and IPortable.
- Images can now be attached to each term.
New to version 1.2:
- Allow users on your site to “self-register“, or invite themselves as a member to a roster
- Member export to Excel or CSV
- Term history displayed for members
New to version 1.2.1:
- Roster Types and Position Types are moved out of the DNN Lists, meaning each Roster module can now have its own types, independent of any other instance
- Roster Summary is now edited with the Text Editor, for finer control of content in the Explorer mode

- Images now have titles (displayed as tooltips)
