Module Setup - Overview

Before Doyle ITS Zero-In can be used on your website, you must first obtain a special key from Google or Yahoo!, as discussed here: http://www.doyleits.com/CustomerService/Forums/tabid/134/mid/571/threadid/22/scope/posts/Default.aspx. Doyle ITS Zero-In depends on these APIs (application programming interfaces) to geocode addresses. Geocoding is the process of converting a physical address to geographic points - latitude and longitude.

Doyle ITS Zero-In is comprised of two different modules, which are discussed in detail below. These two modules are added at the same time, when you add Zero-In to your page. The Location Explorer is a store or location directory, while the Location Finder is the store locator, which uses the locations in the Explorer to calculate distances.
